I am heartbroken over the story in the news about beautiful little five year old Shaniya Davis. She is only slightly older than my son, and her mother sold her into prostitution. The last video of her from a surveillance camera shows a man carrying her in his arms...and then she was apparently killed shortly afterwards and dumped like trash on the side of the road. Why? I don't understand how or why anyone could do such a thing to a child...to anyone, but especially a child. I hope she is resting in the Lord's arms now, and I hope He can take away the pain and terror she endured at the end of her tragically short life. Rest in peace little angel.
